Importing mail from Netscape 7 into Outlook express

I am trying to import mail from Netscape 7.1 into Outlook
2003 and I understand that I need to impot it to outlook
express first. But I can't get it to work. Seems like all
the articles I find are about how to do it from Netscape
4.x and I don't have that on my machine and can't find a
place to download. Can mail be downloaded directly from
Netscape 7.1 into Outlook express? If yes, how? The Import
on Outlook express doesn't work, somehow it doesn't
recognize the files under which Netscape 7.1 stores the
email.

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups). The links under the newsgroup
references are for use with MS's web newsreader (not exactly the best way to
post but it works for some people)

7.1 into Outlook 2003 and I learned from Microsoft's web
site that I need to use Outlook express as a middle man.
Do you have any info on this?

I found this in ten seconds with a google for "import netscape v7 into
outlook". It was the first link. It does describe what you have to do
(i.e., install NS V4, mod V4 to see V7's messages, import NS V4 to OL).

Convert Netscape v7 to Outlook and Outlook Express
To import Netscape 7.xx mail to Outlook, it is evident that you must first
import to Outlook Express,
and then from Outlook Express, import to Outlook.
The easiest solution is to install Netscape 4.xx. With Netscape closed:
First, make a backup copy of your Mail Folder
Copy the Mail files without the MSF extensions from the Netscape 7 Mail
Folder. Paste the files without the MSF extensions into the Communicator
Mail Folder
NOTE: you must open the Netscape 4.xx mail folders once, this will create
the index files (SNM). Close Netscape and open Outlook Express and Import
the files from Netscape 4.xx
