importing from excel with formulas

i have tried to import an excel spreadsheet that had a countif formula for
each row into access. when i have done this i lose this ability to perform
the function. I would still like to be able to add to the table and have a
method of continuing this countif function.

Any thoughts?

Hey, Access is not Excel! Tables and queries in datasheet view may
visually resemble worksheets, but that's where the similarities end. You
store raw data only in tables, and use queries or reports to filter /
aggregate data. Looks like you need to understand the various object
types in Access a little better, before you go any further with your
project.
