Importing file details into Access

Hello.

I have several hundred digital photos that have
information in the 'Summary' part of the file properties
window. Is there a way to get this information into
Access along with the photo? As it is, I will have to
enter all of the details by hand. It is an inventory type
project, and the filename of each photo is it's unique
identifier.

Rob, is this a project you're just starting and really want to develop
yourself? If so, may I suggest you look into an outstanding product called
ThumbsPlus from cerious.com. ThumbsPlus is an image database developed in
Access which allows you to do just about *anything* you could possibly ask
related to image management, including captions, notes, digital camera data,
user-defined fields, etc. I've been using it for years, and love it. It can
probably import what you're asking for.
