Importing Excel into Access table creates blank rows to table? This also
happens while importing from a text file. Both the text file and spreadsheet
do not contain any blank lines or rows

When having such problems with imports, I often find it better to import into
a temporary working table; clean up the data such as removing blank records;
then appending the remaining records to the target table.
