Importing Email

My laptop malfunctioned and my tech support was only able to salvage email
files onto a CD. I've tried every help topic to upload these emails into my
new laptop and Outlook program. I get various errors such as:

"File access is denied. Yoyu do not have the permission required to access
the file D:\Outlook\Personal Folders(1) .pst"

I no longer have tech support to help with this. Any suggestions will be
much appreciated.

Copy the pst-file to your hard disk and remove the Read Only file attribute.
Then in Outlook use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...
