Hey everyone:
Here's my issue. I am working off of a program that says that you ca
export into excel via exporting into a PDF>saving as a text file>the
importing from excel. It doesn't quite work. Basically, I have trie
using Space delimited and Fixed with in the import external data scree
and it is just not working. If this is not enough info, I hav
attached the text file (a very shortened version) and would reall
appreciate it if someone gave it a look. Thanks in advanc

Hi!

Can you say just what isn't working?

I've looked at your line of text and it parses pretty well: how wel
depends on your expectations and also whether different lines ar
behaving differently.

Ret 3 year Annlzd (current) and then the rest of the data to fall i
under each of the four headers. Thanks alot for looking

As I mentioned, there will be much more data in bot directions, but
was hoping it wouldn't matter and that this would give a good idea o
the problem. Thanks agai

I think I can clarify my problem.. How do you clarify on the import ho
many columns there should be (when to stop with the headers and when t
wrap the data underneath them) when using space as your seperator

Hi!

The text is a bit of a problem because it has no consistent markers fo
delimiting it. Space can be end of word; end of field; end of line. I
goes beyond my capabilities, I'm afraid.
