importing bookmarks from netscape

I have a large # of bookmarks in netscape 4.79 that I
want to import into my IE6 Favorites. Some in fact are
already in my IE favorites.
My question is-if I import my Netscape bookmarks into IE6
will my current IE6 favorite list be "overwritten" or
will the Netscape items be merely "added" to my IE
favorites?

They will be added. Duplicate entries may be overwritten, but you should get a notice about that.
