Importing Archived Outlook Messages?

I archived my Outlook messages last night as I cleaned up my hard
drive.

Files are saved as PST files.

I tried importing them with the option:"Import from another file or
program".

I got this error message:

Access denied you don't have permission. Properties for this
information service must be defined before use.

File cannot be accessed.

What does that mean?

Also tried without success Import CC:Mail Archive.

The files aren't bigger than 700 MB

Your help would be very much appreciated!

Make sure the file isn't marked read-only. If it's on a CD, move it to your
hard drive and remove the read-only attribute.

Note that if you just want to look at the archived data but you don't need
to mix it back in with your current data, you should simply open the .PST
files rather than import from them. Instructions can be found here:
