Imported Formn Same as Changed Form

I made changes to a form today, not more than a half an hour ago.
I decided I didn't like the changes. Instead of changing the form back I
deleted it and imported the same
form from a backup that didn't have the changes.
The imported form shows the same changes I made to the form I want to
replace. In fact, I imported the form
from 3 of my 10 backups and there all the same as the one I want to replace.
I did not back up the db after making the changes.
When I open these backups they show the form as they were when I backed them
up. But,
When I import the form it's a different story.

Any ideas?

Rename the form in your current database by adding something like "bad" to
it. Then import the form from one of the older databases.

Actually I found it easier to simply delete the db and replace it
with the backup. But, before that I tried importing the form before deleting
the old one and access names the imported form with a 1 at the end
but that didn't work.
Odd. The form is ok in the backup but not when I import it.
Wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
