Imported birthdays not showing in calendar

How do I get my imported contact's birthdays to show up
in the calendar?

I have the exact opposite problem. My contacts'
birthdays DO show up in the calendar and I don't like
it. Is there a way to turn this "feature" off?

It's particularly annoying now that so many of my
contacts are automatically updated via systems like Plaxo
and include their birthdays.

There is a 3rd party utility at http://www.rsoutlook.com/us/rspacc.htm that
can help you with this if you don't want to update each contact manually.

Unfortunately there's no way to turn it off that I know of. For most folks
I'd say just don't use the Birthday field (put the birthday somewhere else
if you need it), but I guess that would be hard to do if your contacts are
being updated automatically.
