CAn you import other files into Access or link other files??
Are you able to do that?

I really wanted to do is import a infopath template that i created and
filled out into the access database so that i could just view it...right...so
i was wondering if that was possible or not...
Cool if it is, and trashed if it dont!!

if anyone can answer my questions that would be really chill!!!

Of course. Give it a try (File>Get External Data).

You can import or link any number of file types, including Excel, text files
such as csv, tab delimited, etc. Anything out of the ordinary and you might
have to set up an ODBC driver.

Im not that great with Access, so could you explain...like how would i link
them?

please feel free to elaborate man
Thanks!

I think I misunderstood your original question. I thought you wanted to link
or import another data file, but your 'template' file sounds more like Word?

Post back with more details on this file: what file type is it, how is
generated, is this a file that changes or is it static, etc. The more info
the better.

No its Info path.. i am trying to use a form that i created from infopath.. i
was wanted to use it in access so that i could automatically fill in the
information and then print it instead of creating a report that would do
that..because it would take forever to create
I created a database but it was too complicated.. and so i wanted to
simplify it...i just wanted all the forms that i use for my work and have a
way that i could enter information into them and then store that information
for future reference. I still wanted to use access to lookup that
information- like a summarized version or as a history. Or if i could just
scan a copy of that form and then use it somehow..if you could help me ..if
you need more info just tell me. Thanks

My apologies - my knowledge of Infopath is less than your knowledge of
Access. Hopefully someone else can help.

That being said, if Infopath is a part of Office, there must be some kind of
integration with other Office products. I think you'll need to check some
documentation on MS's website.
