Import xml contact data

I've created an Acrobat 7 form to collect multiple contact information from
associates, which when filled-in automatically emails me the data file with
with an xml extension.

How do I import this xml data as contacts into Outlook 2007 in winXP?
 
I know Excel has some XML capability. Can you open the data there and then save it as an .xls or .csv file to import into Outlook?
