Import Word table data into Access?

CW

I have a simple Word table of 8 columns and about 120 rows, no calculations
or anything, just text and money values, which I would like to bring into
Access either by importing the data or by pasting it.
Is this feasible?
If not, how about first pasting the data into Excel and then importing into
Access?
Many thanks

yes, I'd probably look at copying and pasting into Excel first..

or if you had to do this a LOT you could take the DOCX format (for
word 2007) and change the extension to ZIP and then unzip the
document.. and then you could import the XML into MS Access

Thanks Aaron, it's just a one-time exercise and then I'll be doing all the
work directly in Access in future. I did a little test via Excel with a
couple of rows just now and it seemed to work OK, so I'll go that route.
Thanks for your advice

Easy way is to go to table tools, chose convert to text and select comma to
seperate columns. Save as .CSV and import into access. Can also automate
this with macro in word and/or some VBA in access.
