Import Wizard Not Working in Access 2003

Under Access 2003, the import wizard is not working correctly. When I get
to the visual display of the data for entering fields names and data types
(as if it's a spreadsheet), it won't let me change the names or datatypes
for anything but the first field.

I can open the advanced features and use the record definition function to
define the fields, but the visual display is so much easier to use.

Is this a known problem in Access 2003 or do I have a problem with my
install? I think I've installed all the Office 2003 service packs, but I
won't swear to it -- is there perhaps one that I'm missing?

I've had this same problem, as far as I remember, on every PC I've worked on.
It's been there so long I had forgotten about it. I think this is normal for
Access, but it doesn't seem that it shold work that way.
