Import Specs from a table

I have a large fixed-length field table and I'm trying to import a large text
file into it, but manually doing the import specs would take a long time. Is
there any way to get the import specs from the table itself?

I don't know a ready-made way of creating an import spec from a table,
though it's certainly possible to write VBA code that would do it.
Instead, I'd use a schema.ini. See:
