Hello,When you have to export data from Actuate to
another application like
Excel or word, please. do the following.
Ensure that you have the latest version of the Actuate
Viewer.
After you have run the report and are able to see it in
the viewer then
highlight the fields that you need to export into Excel
or word after you
have highlighted the fields use the search from the
Actuate viewer (you
can do the same thing from Developers WorkBench also)
Click on the search/ find from the button on the title
bar for search
Go to the select tab within the search window and hit on
add selection to
select the fields from the report into the select window.
Then select the options tab to redirect the output to the
desired
application uncheck the result window check box and check
the external
application check box, select the application to redirect
the output to
and select Microsoft Excel 97 and then hit search you
will find that the
output appears in excel.
You can repeat the same process for exporting data into
word too either
you can do it from excel using copy paste option or you
can store the
output into a text file and then call it in MS WORD.
Thnx
