Is there any way that I can import old "multiplan"
worksheets into excel? Believe it or not, I am still
using the old "Multiplan" program because it is still
loaded on one of my dos computers and I love the program,
but need to catch up with technology.

Now that I am using the xp platform, I have been trying
to figure out how I can transfer some of the dos-based
Multiplan worksheet files into excel.

IS THAT POSSIBLE???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Robert

I think the only way is to save your MultiPlan files as text or
csv files, and import those in to Excel. Excel does not have the
capability to import MultiPlan files.

Hi, Chip:

There's one more option: in Multiplan, save as SYLK (Symbolic Link) format.
That will preserve formulas and most (if not all) of the formatting that was
possible in Multiplan. Excel 2002 can read SLK files (don't know about
XL2003).
