Import of address.scv to Outlook 2007

I am in the process of updating from Outlook Express 6 to Outlook 2007. So
far I have succeeded with installation and importing all my mails.
Now I am trying to import my addresses.
My OE 6 address database was divided into a number of folders containing
addresses applicable to a project, costumer etc. I have been informed that it
is impossible to import this structure directly. My next step was to make a
semicolon separated file (addresses.csv) containing all my addresses.
Now I have tried to import the file into Outlook 2007. I went through the
process and was finally asked to which folder I wanted to import the
address.cvs. I selected the contacts folder in the folder view. OK. Now a
transfer took place.
BUT to my disappointment, the Contacts folder had disappeared from the
folder view. I am unable to find the location of the imported addresses.
Apparently I goofed.
When I repeat the process I get the same folder view including the contact
folder.
Any ideas ??

Are you using the Mail view in the Nav Pane? That view shows only
mail-enabled folders. If you want to see the Contacts folder, use the
Contacts or Folder List view.

I have solved the problem with the missing contacts folder. I had to change
to fplder view. OK

I did not find a solution to the import contact problem. I did it the hard
way by hand. So now I am up running.
