Is it possible to import old email messages from Netscape Messenger to
MS Outlook XP version (or Outlook express)? I have about 3 years of
messeges which I would like to transfer them to Outlook and throw away
Netscape completely.

Regards,

Open Outlook XP, click the File menu, click Import and Export. When the
Import and Export wizard opens, under the heading: Choose an action to
perform, click to select: Import Internet Mail and Addresses, then click the
Next button. The rest of the wizard is self-explanatory.

File->Import and Export, select Import Internet Mail and Addresses, then
follow your nose.

Are you sure you want to do this? Outlook is a horrendously complex
program if all you want is an e-mail client - full of fancy bells and
whistles that seem to get in the way. OE is less so although with both
of them you'll be more at risk of malicious attachments than with NS.
Have you tried the latest NS (or Mozilla Thunderbird)? The built-in spam
filtering is excellent once it's trained and it is immune to those
viruses/trojans that spread using the Outlook/OE address book

Parish
