Import into custom fields

Is there a way to import (lots of) info into a custom field.

For example, let's say my contact has a Tax ID Number that I want to store.
I create a custom field for this, and I'd like to import from another source.
When I do the import/export wizard there's no option for my field.

I realize there are 4 user fields that appear, but I have lots of custom
fields. My version of Outlook is 2000, we'll probably be using 2003.

Answered my own question by searching and reading.

So, is there some sample code out there that shows how to import into these
custom fields. I create the custom field in Outlook, but when I go to update
a Contact's properties using vba (like their Name, or a phone number), I only
have success with the built in fields.
