Import hyperlink from EXCEL

I would like to create a new table by importing an EXCEL spreadsheet. The
EXCEL spreadsheet includes a column containing hyperlinks. I tried importing
the spreadsheet using various methods. I tried to simply create a new table
but that didn't work - the hyperlink disappeared. Then I created a table in
ACCESS that matched each of the fields in the EXCEL spreadsheet. For
example, in the ACCESS table, the first field was set to Hyperlink. This
matched the first column in the EXCEL spreadsheet. The remaining four fields
in the ACCESS table were set to text to match the remaining four fields in
the EXCEL worksheet. But the Import did not work. Could you help me with
this?
Thank you.

Select the cell(s) in the Excel spreadsheet and remove the hyperlink (this
doesn't remove the actual text), or save the spreadsheet as a delimited text
file and import that instead.
