import forms

I am confused as to when does the need arise to import forms in access form
another databsae to your current database. Because each from is linked with
its table and table-queries if it has subforms. Importing would destroy the
control source of the from !

How do you ensure that it gets the proper foundations about its controls
when it is imported or exported ?

Hi, Alok.

One may import forms into another database when the same or similar
functionality is needed. The same tables or queries that these forms are
bound to are also imported, but without the data. And the form's or report's
Record Source Property need not reflect a data source in the current
database. This Record Source may reside in any other database that the user
has security permissions to use.
