import Flash .exe file

B

Brian Lynn

Client has brought me a Flash file that has been saved as
an executable, self contained presentation and the file
is not available as a .swf which would make life easy. Is
there a way to import or use the flash ".exe" as an
object? or is there a way to make ppt call this .exe and
run it automatically when we reach the slide the .exe is
on? I want to run the .exe as the second slide in the
presentation, then advance to slide 3 on a click after
the .exe finishes.

I can run the .exe from within slide builder view but
everytime I do I get a message from Explorer asking me if
I want to run this "File Download". I believe I can
correct this by reducing secutrity settings in Explorer
but if there is a better way to avoid this step
altogether (i.e. a proper file import) I would like to
use it.

Thanks in advance for any help you all can give me!
