Is there a way to export your toolbar layout (the buttons at the top of the
screen) and import it in another copy of Word?

This would be quite helpful because, you know, it takes a long time to
customize it manually.

Thanks.

These settings are saved in templates, Normal.dot if you haven't explicitly
selected a different one.

I see, so I simply replace the Normal.dot from the second copy with the
Normal.dot from the first?

Very good. Thank you.

Not quite. For best results use the organiser to import the toolbars from
the modified one to the second PC.

But note that you can move only custom toolbars (not customized built-in
ones). You can get around this by dragging all the custom buttons to a new
custom toolbar, copying that toolbar into the new Normal.dot, and then
dragging the buttons onto the built-in toolbar.
