Import/Export Contacts - Missing field info

Previously using Outlook Express but moving to Outlook
2000. I exported the data to Outlook but "Personal"
fields (i.e., B-days, spouse, kids, etc.) did not appear.
Also tried to change permissions in Outlook Express to
allow Outlook and Express to share contact info - no
luck. All other fields (home info and office info)
transferred without a problem. How can I get the missing
information to transfer without retyping?

How did you "export" the data to Outlook?
You should have imported directly from OE using Outlook's Import Wizard.
