Import data from Word Form

Hi,

Is there any way of importing data from a Word document with form
fields built into it.

My client wants to use the Word form to enter their data and then
merge or import into Access. They have to use the Word form as it is
used for their Legal Documents.

Access supports text file import, if the data were in a tabular form, it
could be imported from a text file or cut and pasted to a spreadsheet. See

However, it makes more sense to my mind to go the other way--enter the data
itself in Access, where you can perform data validation, then use the Access
table or query as a mail merge source to populate the form fields in Word.
