Import autofill history

I am assisting a friend setting up a new machine with Outlook 2007. I have
imported his contacts, messages, and sent e-mails from his old machine
running Outlook 2003. Unfortunately he never entered his sent e-mails into
his contacts; he just would begin typing a name in the "To" field and the
previosly used name would "Autofill" the field. Now the new machine with
Outlook 2007 will not do that since he never sent e-mails from this copy of
Outlook before. Is there a way to export the several hundred e-mails that the
old Outlook retained in its history to the new Outlook machine?

PS If you had viewed this ng I would have thought you would have realised
Import / Export is not the way to treate native OL data

DL, thank you for your rapid response. Forgive my ignorance. I am not well
versed in "ng" and "OL data". Could you further your response with a
clarification to my origional request and advise me on how I can transfer
this info (native OL data) from the old machine to the new one

ng = news group
OL data = Outlook data file (*.pst / Personal Folders)

Importing / Exporting native OL data loses, amongst other things, settings,
and resets the modified dates.
Locate the OL nk2 file, rename it to old, copy origonal nk2 file to this
location (all with OL closed)
