imaging utility

Hello,
I am looking for some free utilities like Imaging in
Windows 2000 to scan business card. I need to simplify
the user interface to a few buttons because the users are
not able to use complex system. Imaging does not seem
give me ability to customize menu and define working path
dynamically.
Any suggestion?

IrfanView (freeware) is a very powerful/feature rich application.
