Images in signatures

Hi

I recently created a signature in outlook 2002 with my company logo in
it. It worked for a while but recently all i get when i write a new mail
is a blank square with a red X (like you see on web pages when the
image does not load).

I've tried it with several different images and none will appear,
however if i use a sig that is just text it appears fine, am i missing
something simple?
