Images in form

I have a shared Access Database. One form has two feilds one for part number
and one for Image of part number. The images are kept in the same directory
on the server. When I load (Insert Object- Linked) an Image on all the
computers accept one the image is displayed automatically . When I insert the
image on the one computer it shows it as an name "image 7.bmp" only. When I
double click it opens the image. When I request a part number which has been
loaded by one of the other computers it opens the bitmap automatically. I
compared the Picture properties from a "good image" (open up) and a "bad
image" they look the same. I do not know what to check next ?

When inserting the link to the image, be sure that the "display as
icon" box is unchecked.
Unfortunately, clearing this box makes your database grow
tremendeously, because Access stores a preview picture with the
link. It's better to only store the path of the picture (or even only
the filename) and use the Current event of the form to specify the
value of the picture property of an image control.
Don't use a continuous form for that.
