Some of the images in IE appear with vertical bands in them.
If I view the same image in, for ex, paintbrush, they appear fine.
If I save/print the image from IE, they are printed/saved corrupted.
I am using IE 6 with SP1.

Update your video drivers and reduce hardware acceleration at control panel,
display, settings, advanced, performance.

Thanks Sandi.
But that did not help. I had gone ahead and bought a new video card thinking that might be the problem, but that did not help.
Any other suggestions?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Right Click in the right pane and select New DWORD.

Create the DWORD UseHR and set its data value to 1 (number one).

There is a known problem with MS Patch 03-015 on some machines running IE6
SP1 - a fix is available as described at the URL below:

I'm not sure what to suggest, assuming you have updated your video drivers
and reduced hardware acceleration.
