Hello
I get this jpeg image that I don't want every time I restart my computer; I have tried deleting this image file in my hard drive and everywhere else I can think of, and it still pops up as a background image, even if only briefly

Any suggestions or advise to remove this from my computer would be appreciated

Ricky

Check in the Registry under this key/branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\desktop

...for Value Names:

PrevWallpaper or Wallpaper

You can either set the Data to 0 or delete the source file(s).

Turn OFF Active Desktop, THEN change Background to None. Then turn
Active Desktop back on.
