Image from Web in mht PowerPoint

I need some advice from a PowerPoint expert. If you can give me some
advice, I would really appreciate it.

I have a PowerPoint file that I have saved as in single file Web page
(mht) format. I need to pull an image from a Web server and display it
in the page.

Since the page file is saved as HTML content, I thought I could just
put an image tag into the file and pull the image directly from the Web
site. I've tried this, however, and it isn't working for me.

Is this possible? (If so, I'll keep trying) Is there some better way to
handle this?

Thanks in advance!

I would take the image from wherever you have it stored for your html file,
insert it into your PowerPoint presentation and re publish you MHT file.

Hi,

MHT is a single file htm that also encodes images. It either wont work, or
is too hard. Try saving it as html, fix it then, and then save as mht if you
really need it in that format.
