Image File Creation

Hi, I have been trying for days to create a Ubuntu live image file to a CD
instead of having it installed on my hard drive; I downloaded Alexfienman iso
recorder and when I right click on the downloaded 637MD file(
Ubuntu-510livei386 file and choose copy image to CD as per instruction then
after about a minute I get a error message Operation has failed. Code
8004020e; reason: A generic ocurred). I Looked that up and all it say is that
the image is located on a network, compressed or encrypted volume; I do not
know what this mean or how to solve this problem. I am running winxp pro with
sp2, any help will be apreciated. thanks

You may need to download the Ubuntu ISO file again, if it had errors or
incorrect CRC info.. The Ubuntu Live Disk ISO I downloaded is showing 627mb,
used Nero to burn to CD-R and the live disk worked fine..

I tried creating the live Ubuntu Cd with my son's computer and all went well;
seems like my CD burner died since I could not burn no CDs either; the
download was 627mb, I had hit the wrong key when I was posting. thanks
