You can't, because when the image is
showing in the browser it is already
in the visitors browser cache files.
What you can do is:
1. place a text watermark on the image
2. use a degraded copy of the image.
3. don't publish the images.
You can use a javascript "No right click" script
to pop up the copyright statement, but this only slows
down inexperienced users.
Jim Cheshire a FrontPage MVP who also owns jimcoaddin
has written a great info page on this subject. I recommend
you read it and save yourself a lot of time spent "surfing" for solutions
that don't work.

How do I prevent an image from being downloaded from my site? ie: when a
viewer right clicks on the image, I want it to tell them it is copywright
protected as my site is a "buy photo" site.
