Hi

When I purchased Front Page 98 it came with a very useful app called Image
Composer. Does this product still exist. I cant find it. What application
would you recommend for me to use..That is similar to Image Composer for my
graphics work...

Cheers Possum..

What is stopping you from continuing to use Image Composer?

Image Composer no longer exists but if you still have the CD you can install
it and keep using it.

Yes I still use Image Composer. Its just such a good program. I was
interested to see if it has been replaced or what version it is up to

I have version 1.5...

Still 1.5. I think there's a "Microsoft Picture Editor" or something now -
but that's a stand alone product, not bundled with subsequent Frontpage
editions. I think its intention was to use that for things like removing
red-eye from photographs and creating online/cd photo album type things, not
specifically for creating web graphics like IC was.

I also use Adobe Photoshop elements 4.0 - and find when 'saving for the web'
it creates cleaner and smaller image sizes (or at least you have a greater
range of options in terms of compression/quality ratio for PNG, JPEG and a
good range of options for the 'type' of GIF including the number of colours
(128, 256 etc), whether dithered or not), than the IC "save for the web"
option.
