ikasu filmscan 35I

Hi I am new to this, but in desperate need of help. I am on Vista, and acquired an Ikasu Filmscan 35 I recently, but it keeps coming up with, acquire source failed, restart DSM, and before that, a cable may be disconnected. I have uninstalled and reinstalled quite a few times but to no avail. I am not very technically minded, so anything in simple terms would be appreciated lol. Thanks very much. Lisa

Oh I did look at that, but his was Windows XP and when I looked at downloading an ASPI layer, it was only for Windows XP and not for Vista, so thought maybe someone would know where I could get one for Vista from, if thats what I need. I should have mentioned that, my mistake, i apologise for that. Thanks again Lisa
