Iiyama Vision Mst Pro 413 or Hyundai ImageQuest Q995?

I want a decent Black coloured monitor for my new system and have narrowed
it down to these two, the Iiyama is a 17" (£140) and the Hyundai is a 19"
(£160). I've read that Iiyama monitors are meant to have brilliant image
quality, yet I've also seen two reports of it having a slightly blurred left
hand side. I'm uncertain about Hyundai, all the specs seem good, and it
looks nice enough, but what's the picture like. Just wondering if anyone has
either of these monitors and could give me some info. Or maybe you could
reccomend another decently priced one?

Cheers

I have a 17 inch Hyundai imagequest v770 and though the image is clear and bright, the
monitor suffers from poor regulation and can 'bloom' a few cm on contrast changes, so with
that I just bought a veiwsonic E70f+SB, picture is very good, no 'blooming' and screens
almost flat. (It does use a relay when changing resolution though its normal with a lot of
monitors ) and silver and black :)

My son uses a MITSUBISHI PRO 750SB and after a year the image is sharp as it was new and
its black cased too ( but bloody heavy ! ). dunno if you can find them though as that
model may have been updated.

Were you talking about the ImageQuest with this statement? :)

What do you mean by "blooming" anyway?

Nope, the imagequest v770 is beige, sorry for the confusion, the veiwsonic and MITSUBISHI
are black with silver fronts.

Blooming... oldy type word to describe lack of crt regulation, with poor designed
regulation, as the image changes from dark to light, the screen size changes or
fluctuates, in the case of the Hyundai monitor, there is difference of several mm in size
between a dark and light image displayed on the screen, its very noticeable.
