Hi.
How do I install IIS on my PC? I'm running XP. I keep reading that I
should just goto Add Components and chose it. But it's not there.

If you have XP Home, then its 99% ... you can't install it.

If you have XP Pro, it should be there under "Windows Components"

The 1% is to trick your computer into thinking its an XP home.

You'll have to google it
"IIS XP Home"

and find the how to. but its not worth it, IMHO

ASP.net 1.1 + VS '03? You can't.

ASP.net 2.0 + VS '05 has a 'web server' built in.

It's built on a tool from MS to handle the situation you're in. The latest
version is supposed to have all of the 2.0 stuff in it as well.
