Is there any upgrade to Windows XP IIS ?

I have too the Windows Server 2003 Premium Editions
I wonder if you can install IIS6 from the server's cd on XP.

Thanks

anything wrong with the Internet Information Services included in XP? (Apart
from the fact they may not necessarily be heavy load/production grade,
compared to their W2k3 siblings??
anything particular you're looking for?
I suspect the W2k3 versions cannot be installed on XP. (Have never tried
though, so they just might :-))

Thanks George, no, no problems, but just thinking that the server comes with
IIS 6 I think.
So I was thinking if could be used on XP as an upgrade to IIS.

Also, I installed the server once to check it out, and was unable to find
( or maybe not available )
any "localhost", or maybe needed to setup different? I dont know.

Can the server have a local host like we do on XP ?
( Or something like that )
The server comes with Frontpage 2003 and Outlook 2003 plus other extras, so
I was guessing you could that

Thansk again

Hi,

Not that I know of, with WinXP Pro you have only IIS 5.0. There are no
upgrade options.
