IIS Installer needs WinXP SP1 Disk ???!!!

I installed XP Pro using a disk NOT containing any
service pack 1 or 1a.
Then I did all web-updates available for my os (including
SP1 upgrade).

Now: wen I try to install IIS in my winxp pro (using
add/remove components) a msgbox pops up asking me for
files from the 'Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1
CD'!

What am I doing wrong here?...
Should I had to install iis BEFORE I did all the web-
updates for my os????

When you add Windows component to Windows XP with SP1 installed,
setup prompts you for the SP1 CD-ROM or the I386 folder?

I managed to install IIS finally by supplying the i386
path of my original xp pro setup disk...
(thought though I tried that before..., ah well)

Thanks for responce.
