Hi,

how to install IIS in the field if you don´t have access to "Add/Remove
Windows Components"?
XPe image is nearly XPp style.

Lutz,

It may be too much work to grab all the files/reg.entries/etc. off the IIS FTP component from database and then wrap it up in the
deployable package (what do you use to manage your devoices - DUA, SMS, etc.?).
Even with XPP like image you would still need to make sure you've got all the component dependencies in your image (especially, the
IIS COmmon Libraries). Each of those may be a pain to deploy to your image as you would need to repeat the procedure mentioned
above.

I fit is acceptable to you, you may just want to install IIS on your runtimes manually. You can even automate the installation with
a script.
This is assuming you've got Windows Install Service and etc. in your image now.

Hi KM,

I tried to install IIS with script but the installed ends with many
errors in IIS log file. The IIS is there but not startable.
I developed a new image with included IIS and it is runing.
