Hello

Say that I never installed IIS from XP cdrom.
Now i installed SP2 upgrade, then later decided to install IIS.
Windows will ask for XP cdrom which got old files of IIS.

Is that the case? Should I have had IIS installed before installing SP2?

Hi,

Shouldn't matter. If IIS uses any of the newer files in SP2, it would
extract them from the ServicePackFiles folder hidden in the Windows
directory. SFP wouldn't allow you to replace a newer file with an older
version.

Hi,

Don't know. Disabling SFP for any reason is wrong. It does not cause any
performance hit.
