I have been serving my own small web page, using Windows XP and IIS 5.0. I
downloaded and installed the new Vista on a separate parititon. Then I found
IIS 7.0 and installed it. When setting up my web page, I changed 2 items: the
location of the index.htm file to I:/GradyGroup-- and I bound the page to
192.168.1.100.
When I select the view Sites tab, I receive the following report: "Default
web site is started with binding 192.168.1.100:80 (HTTP) with path
I:/GradyGroup." But, when attempting to access the web page from the
Internet, I get a page not found error message. Since I am able to run the
web page from the adjacent Windows XP partition, I believe it is sdafe to
assume that this is not a network issue.
Ideas?
Thanks
