"Ignore Margins"

Is there any way to ignore the left or right margin settings when typing in a
Word 2007 document. On old typewriters (remember when we all used them?) we
were able to type over a margin when we pressed a certain key. Is this
available in Word?

No. You can drag the right-indent marker on the ruler, or change the numeric
value of the right indent in the Format > Paragraph dialog to a negative
value. It will affect all lines in the current paragraph (and, if you hit
Enter at the end of that paragraph, the setting will carry over to the next
paragraph, and so on).
