Ignore Call.... HELP!

Can anyone help?

When I'm online I keep getting a dialogue box on-screen
which says:

"Ignore call

You have just ignored an incoming call.
Press Ok."

Then my dial-up internet connection goes down.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can stop
it?

Most likely, you have call waiting that is causing a
signal that your computer recognizes. This signal can
also be seen as noise on the line that will knock you off
of your connection. Disable call waiting when on the
computer. Call your local phone company for the command
to do so.

Find out how to disable call waiting from your local phone provider.
Usually it's done by dialing "70" before the number for your ISP but
that varies with some phone companies. The best solution is to get
DSL if you can afford it.
