Hi
could you be more precise?
Do you mean something like
=IF(COUNTIF(A1,"*text*"),"'text' is within cell A1","")
 
Looking for something like :

if (a1="BL(whatever)", "Bug Light", "other")

info in cell A1 could be BH1 BJ3 BL1 BL2 BL3 VW4
