if my computer is too warm

Hi,I have a laptop and I feel unusual heat coming from the computer,and it
makes strange things.I can't decide maybe I have some viruses,or something
is wrong with the computer?What is the symptoms if the computer is
overheated? Thanks!

Put the laptop over something so that there is sufficient space for
ventilation below it.
