Can someone tell what I'm doing wrong here. Here is my file.

Oh, also is there way on the first line to have excel search for null
and spaces at the same time?

Thanks a million

Hello Jcc31,

Your Formula should look like this...
=IF(F:F=\"\", CONCATENATE(D1, \"\", E1), CONCATENATE(D1, \"\", E1,
\"APT, F1))

An alternate way to using CONCATENATE is this...
D1 & \"\" & E1

You should be aware that this test will only be TRUE when the cell in
same row as the Formula in Column F is empty.

Example:
Formula is in cell C4. The formula check cell F4 to see if it empty.
The Formula doesn't scan the entire range to see if it is empty. If you
want the result in C4 to return true when all of column F is empty, you
will need to check this differently.

In answer to question about checking both null and spaces at the same
time, the answer is no. You have to check for each condition
individually.

Sincerely,
Leith Ross
