"IF" Formula

I need help with the following "IF" Statement

If cellA IS between 3,000 & 5,000 multiply by 20%
 
If cellA IS between 3,000 & 5,000 multiply by 20%

=if(and(a1>=3000,a1<=5000), a1*0.2, a1)
